Holy Cows, Ya’ll!

I just realized that last week was the one-year anniversary of the blog! AND, oddly coincidentally, when I went to write this post and share that tidbit with you, it came to my attention that THIS VERY POST is post number 200! Weird…
A lot of stuff has happened in this last year of 200 posts. Here’s just a few of the antics we’ve been up to in the past year:
- Fifth wedding anniversary trip to Portland, which we loved and ate our way through
- I graduated to this decade and got an iPhone
- I started a blog series about my day-to-day life, Tranche de Vie
- We got a second dog
- We went to see Tom Petty and also got to see Tapes ‘n’ Tapes
- We got a social life
- I started a blog series about my favorite comics
- I started a local walking group
- I traveled to both San Jose, CA, and San Antonio, TX, for work
- I tried indoor rock climbing for the first time
- The husband left his job to be a work-at-home freelance writer and editor
- We went on a Big Family Disney Trip for my parents’ 25th wedding anniversary
- The husband and I started the couch to 5K (C25K) program
And that doesn’t even count all the things that have happened in the WORLD, those big things like Egyptian protests and stuff. I’d say 2010-2011 was a pretty significant year in the world, and our personal year was pretty good as a whole. How have your last 12 months been?
